Following the massive global response at Cannes, the official Indian trailer for Anurag Kashyap’s 'Kennedy' has finally been released. While the trailer showcases Rahul Bhat as a high-stakes hitman wreaking havoc, it is Sunny Leone’s revelation about the film's physical toll that has stunned fans.
In an exclusive interview, Leone revealed that she sustained four slip discs during the production of the neon-noir thriller. The actress, who plays the mysterious 'Charlie', pushed through extreme pain to complete the demanding sequences set in the rain-soaked shadows of Mumbai. "It was the most challenging shoot of my life, both mentally and physically," Leone stated.
"Charlie is not a character you just play; she is a character you inhabit. Anurag sir pushed me to find the darkness and the silence within myself." — Sunny Leone
The film follows an insomniac ex-cop, thought to be dead, who continues to operate within a corrupt system. The trailer hints at a complex relationship between Bhat and Leone, anchored by Kashyap’s signature gritty storytelling. 'Kennedy' is slated for a digital premiere on ZEE5 on February 20, 2026.
